Now Accepting Credit Cards 01/03/2012

For Christmas we upgraded to smartphones which means I can now accept credit and debit cards using Square. It's fast, easy and secure. Yay for technology! I'm also excited to be able to take photos and share them much quicker than before. I've created so many fun and unique balloons this year and I send them on their way before getting a photo. Now I should be able to snap quick photos and share them on my Facebook page and

Shady People 08/17/2011

Unfortunately I've had several of my images stolen from my website or my facebook and someone, a supposed professional, is passing them off as their own work. Shady, shady, shady! I'm surprised a professional is not capable of taking photos of their own work.  It just goes to show they are truly not a professional. They are a hack trying to fake their way in this business.  Their clients are the victims of their unscrupulous, unethical, misleading business practices.

So I have removed a few of my pages for now. I need to watermark all my photos and menus to protect my work and then I will make the pages active again.  I apologize for this inconvenience.  In the meantime, if you need to see the gallery or delivery pages to place an order please contact me and I will activate the pages for your use.

Thanks for your patience.

Deliveries and Expos 04/06/2011

I spent this winter expanding the deliveries side of the business and exhibiting in a few retail expos. It has been amazing! Super fun and such great learning experiences.

I love participating in expos. I love the environment (climate controlled, full of shoppers) and I love the energy from the other vendors and all the attendees. I have had wonderfully positive feedback from expo organizers and other vendors, too. I also make lots of new contacts and I'm getting booked for lots more birthday parties and private events. More and more people are contacting me saying "I saw you at the expo." Love that!  I am exhibiting at three more expos in the next two months and I'm really excited.

Deliveries are so much fun! I love to see the smiles from the recipients. Usually they are blown away by the balloon creations because they've never seen anything like it. Valentine's Day was super fun for deliveries. I've also been adding helium-filled balloons to some delivery pieces which has really been fun. I plan to do a lot more of that.

This balloon business has been such a wonderful addition to my life. I am having more fun than I ever imagined was possible. I meet so many wonderfully friendly people and I love that they smile because of my balloon creations. Twisting balloons is a great way to spend time!

Cornucopia 11/03/2010

Someone asked me for a delivery balloon for the Fall season with a pumpkin. I decided it was the perfect opportunity for me to try a cornucopia. I've seen them done a couple of times and I've wanted to try it but hadn't had the occasion yet....until today. So I grabbed my Robbie Furman DVD called Angels & Ballowers & Bearoons....which has instructions for a cornucopia. At first I thought it looked way too difficult but once I got started, it really moved along pretty quickly. It did take a bunch of balloons but it is totally worth the time and the balloons. Thanks to Robbie Furman for the great design and the instructional DVD.  Also, thanks to my client for inspiring me to try something more than I thought I could do. I'll definitely be making one of these for our family Thanksgiving dinner this year.

Settling Down 10/13/2010

I survived my busiest season of balloon work ever. The Utah State Fair was such a great experience and a goal accomplished. I learned a lot while working at the fair and I had a fantastic time. Make no mistake, it was definitely WORK, but it's the most fun work I've ever been able to do.

Now things are settling down and back to a less frantic pace. I have a steady stream of work lined up and I'm having the time of my life meeting so many fun people and bringing smiles and laughter to so many wonderful children and adults.

I'm also working on the delivery side of my business more and more. I'm doing more decor pieces and working to grow that part of my balloon twisting.

Lots of fun things happening and I'm having a blast. Keep watching for new photos coming soon. I've been working on Halloween and Christmas items and will share those photos in the coming days and weeks.

Busy Season 09/06/2010

I'm at the start of my busy season. My weekends and many weeknights are booked from now through Halloween. I still have some availability so feel free to contact me to see if I can add your event to my schedule. I am working some public events so if you want to come see me and get a balloon, come visit me at the Utah State Fair Saturday 9/11, Monday 9/13 and Saturday 9/18 from 4pm to 9pm each night.  I'm supposed to be stationed somewhere around the South Plaza Pavilion which is not far from the cattle and sheep barns.  I love the state fair and I'm super excited to be twisting balloons there this year. If you're planning a trip to the fair this year, please come find me and say 'hi'.

I've been spending a lot of my free time practicing and fine-tuning so I'll be ready. Here are a few photos of some designs I'm really having fun with right now.

I love the lootle design by Robbie Furman. It is so versatile and customizable and just plain fun. I made this hula girl lootle for my sister to take to a work party. I think she is so adorable!

Another fun bracelet design. I saw this one posted somewhere online. I believe the design is by David Brennan. It's quick and fun.
